What an amazing day on Saturday for the Professional's Stableford 2022!
The sun was out from start to finish on the hottest day of the year and with the course in fantastic condition, the scoring was excellent across the board.
It's always a fun day and we love hosting and putting on a great event every year for you- the best members a club pro could have. The "Beat The Pro Nearest The Pin Challenge" is a highlight in the day and this year we saw the first hole-in-one from Marcus Davidson at the 8th - and rumour has it the roars were heard around the course - congratulations Marcus!
This year our chosen charity for "Beat The Pro" is Southampton Hospitals Charity. The care and support Jess and I received from everyone on Ocean Ward and PICU when looking after our son Caleb who at just one-month-old had to undergo heart surgery back in October was nothing short of amazing.
So after much banter, you choosing the club for us to hit and calling out your best put off lines!...I would like to thank every single one of you for helping to raise just over £1685 on the day for which I am so grateful...you really are the best.
A huge thank you goes out to all our sponsors who put up the most amazing prizes to play for. Congratulations to Aimee Paterson (41pts) who had the best score on the day and to Steve Tiller (40pts) on your excellent play.
